Welcome to Saladmaster Technical Support
How to cook each food?
Any food in any of its forms, Saladmaster allows you to fry, bake, sauté, and cook … with any of your units, and choose the best option according to your need or preference, with the most authentic flavors.
Meats
Depending on the recipe, which we are going to cook the meat, we will use one technique or another. It is important to temper the meat (leave it at room temperature for a few minutes) before cooking it so that it loses the cold from the refrigerator. We will add the salt to taste always when serving, once cooked.
Griddle
Preheat the unit or the grill, add the meat and cook.
Fried
Add the oil to the cold unit and heat it to 70% power or over medium heat on gas. Once the oil is very hot, introduce the meat and fry it until golden brown, cooking it to taste. We can also create a fried effect by leaving the unit half covered.
Baked
Preheat the unit or grill; brown the meat on both sides and cover. When clicking repeatedly, lower the heat to the minimum or 80ºC, if you are using the electric skillet (there is also the automatic option with the RICE grill program). You can add potatoes, onions or vegetables to taste for an ideal result.
Fish
Depending on the type of fish (more or less fatty), we will use one technique or another. It is important to temper the fish (leave it at room temperature for a few minutes) before cooking it so that it loses the cold from the refrigerator. We will always add the salt to taste when serving, once cooked.
Griddle
Preheat the unit or the electric skillet, add the blue fish (fattier) and cook uncovered to taste. With white fish (less fatty), add a little oil and grease to the unit with a kitchen brush or kitchen paper.
Fried
Add the oil to the cold unit and heat it to 70% power or over medium heat on gas. Once the oil is very hot, add the fish and fry it until golden brown. It is advisable to remove the excess oil with kitchen paper in a tray.
Baked
Add the fish to the unit, and cover when hot. If a click-click sounds repeatedly, lower the heat to a minimum or to 90 ºC if you are using the electric skillet (there is also the automatic option with the RICE grill program). You can add potato, onion or vegetables to taste for an ideal result.
Vegetables
We will use different techniques depending on the recipe that we are going to prepare. Each vegetable has more or less moisture, and we will use it to cook.
Griddle
Precalentar la unidad o el grill, añadir la verdura y cocinar destapada al gusto.
Fried
Add the oil to the unit cold and heat it to 70% power or medium heat on gas. Once the oil is very hot, introduce the vegetables and fry until golden brown, cooking to taste.
Boiled
Vegetables with a high water content and without starch (zucchini, onion, carrot, spinach, cabbage, chard…) hardly need water. With the rest, we will add a little water. With the unit cold, add the vegetables and water (if necessary), and cook on 30% power or at a minimum on gas. When Click-click occurs, lower to 10% or turn off the gas.
Broths
Your new units keep the food moist, so the water we add will be the broth that will remain at the end of the process.
1. Add the ingredients.
2. Add the desired amount of water.
3. Heat over medium heat until you hear the click-click continuously.
4. Lower the heat to a minimum and maintain cooking depending on the size and hardness of the ingredients, fish, meat or vegetables.
Creams
We can add some water when cooking the vegetables if we like our cream more liquid, or cook without water if we like it thicker.
1. Add the vegetables and cook them at low temperature (30% in vitro or at a minimum in gas).
2. When you listen the click-click continuously, lower it to the minimum (10% vitro or lower fire, or off in gas).
3. Blend to get a creamy texture. If you prefer it a bit more liquid, add water to taste when grinding and reheat.
Pasta
We can cook pasta by boiling it with water in the traditional way, or with the humidity of the sauce that we want to add.
With water
Add water and the pasta, covering the unit in 2/3 of its capacity. Heat over medium / high heat. When you hear a continuous click-click, lower the heat to a minimum and wait for the time indicated on the pasta package.
With sauce
The same humidity of the sauce cooks the pasta. You can also add a little water if necessary.
Cereals
You can cook a wide variety of cereals in your new cooking units. All the cereals are put in water without preheating, covered, waiting to hear the click-click, and reducing heat to a minimum.
